As a member of the crisis communications team, Tyra assists with issues management and emerging priorities while working with communicators at all Penn State campuses to help drive Penn State’s commitment to education.

Prior to coming to Penn State, Tyra worked at a small marketing agency in Meadville, Pennsylvania, where she served as a social media and public relations strategist. Before taking on that role, she was a social media strategist in the Eberly College of Business at Indiana University of Pennsylvania, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in marketing.
