In her work as assistant editor, Taylor aids in the creation and distribution of Penn State Today, the University’s flagship daily newsletter publication. She contributes to editorial discussions and decisions for Penn State News and writes stories highlighting Penn State’s community and programming.

Prior to joining Strategic Communications, Taylor worked as a communications specialist for Redford Township in Michigan. Her primary focus was overhauling the township’s online presence, including launching a new website and developing a strategic plan for social media and digital engagement.

Taylor has a background in public radio and journalism. She’s worked as a reporter at various NPR-affiliated stations across the Midwest and contributed both daily and feature stories to national broadcasts. Taylor has a bachelor’s degree in journalism and English literature from Indiana University.
