Lara Sittler

Executive Assistant

As the executive assistant for the Office of the Vice President for Strategic Communications, Lara provides administrative support to the vice president for strategic communications and for the division’s major meetings and events.

Prior to joining Strat Comm in 2022, Lara worked as an administrative assistant in Penn State’s Department of Chemistry and supported numerous research faculty and their students and laboratories. In addition to a background in event planning and coordinating, she has more than a decade of experience in a variety of customer-service positions and has served as the general manager of several restaurants.

A Penn State alum, she has a bachelor’s degree in Spanish and a minor in art history.
