As university initiatives specialist, Erin develops and deploys communications strategies to support key Penn State priorities and projects, including integrated communications and storytelling for University, presidential, and division efforts.

Prior to joining Strategic Communications, Erin served as the communications director for planning and operations in Penn State’s College of Engineering and a marketing communications specialist in the University’s College of Information Sciences and Technology.

Before beginning her career at Penn State, she earned several awards as a journalist, including honors from the Public Radio News Directors Inc. and the Pennsylvania Associated Press.

Erin earned a bachelor’s degree in media studies and a master’s degree in strategic communications, both from Penn State.
