As a senior research writer, Christine covers research and scholarship within the life, health, and medical sciences at Penn State. She works with faculty members and colleagues to identify and communicate compelling stories that highlight the University’s research expertise with the public.

Christine is a former journalist covering science, health, and sports for national publications and digital media. She is also the author of the book Up to Speed: The Groundbreaking Science of Women Athletes, which examines the gender data gap in sports science research. She received a bachelor’s degree from Columbia University and a master’s in public policy from Harvard University. Christine lives in Brooklyn, New York.
