Associate Director, Administration
As the associate director for administration in the Office of Strategic Communications, Janice serves as the budget administrator for the division and assists with talent management, including guiding hiring and onboarding processes and coordinating staff training and development. In addition, she assists with the unit’s outreach initiatives designed to connect Penn State communicators with the strategic initiatives and goals of the organization and the University.
Prior to joining Strategic Communications in January 2017, Janice worked in IT Communications at Penn State, serving as the operations manager before being named assistant director. She earned a bachelor of arts degree in English from Penn State and has more than thirty years of experience in marketing, public relations, and higher education.
