As director for news and content integration, Reidar oversees internal and external communications strategy, including the development and operation of the University’s digital news platforms and internal Web- and email-driven communications initiatives. Reidar serves as a University spokesperson, develops administrative communications, and is a University-wide adviser on effective communications.
Before his arrival at Penn State in 2009, Reidar made his career in newspapers, most recently as the managing editor of the Shippensburg News-Chronicle and Newville Valley Times-Star in Cumberland County, Pa.
