In his role as a media relations specialist, Ben focuses on using Penn State’s broadcast studio as a tool to increase media placements in high-profile national and international news outlets and to promote visual opportunities for the University. He also works with key journalists and producers to showcase University expertise and helps prepare faculty, leadership, and executives for live-feed or taped interviews.

Before joining Penn State in 2015, Ben was a reporter, producer, and anchor at WTAJ-TV, the local CBS affiliate. He graduated from Morehead State University in Kentucky with a bachelor’s degree in communications/broadcast journalism.
